Parade of Streetlights is a Black History Month selection

Each year, the Community for Literary Presses and Magazines compiles a reading list of standout books by Black and African American Authors. For the second year in a row, Parade of Streetlights by Itua Uduebo was a selection for the reading list.

Following a year in the life of protagonist Kolawole Idowu, the book is a deeply personal and introspective story about the choices we make, the ways we restrict ourselves needlessly, and the freedom of embracing the authentic pursuit of happiness.

We want to say congratulations to Itua and all the authors who have been selected.

You can view the full list on the CLMP website.
