A&C Literary Salon is seeking Contributors
Read Furiously
Bill Hemmig, author of Brethren Hollow and Americana, is on the Board of Directors and Co-Chair of Programming for the Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County, and they're beginning to plan for their 2027 Literary Salons. These are held on the first Thursdays of most months at the A&C headquarters in Doylestown, PA. Four authors (poetry, fiction, and/or creative nonfiction) are invited to read from their work, followed by a casual discussion (no critiques) and opportunity to sell their books if they've been published. They'd love to see some fresh faces! If interested please contact Bill at billhemmig@gmail.com. Priority is usually given to A&C members. The membership fee is nominal; anyone interested can join by going to the website. You don't have to be a resident of Bucks County to join.
If you’re interested in checking out one of the Lit Salons, they are free to the public. The next scheduled event is Thursday, August 6, 7:00PM, at Freeman Hall, 181 East Court St., Doylestown, PA. Stop by, introduce yourself, and enjoy some terrific writing. The literary members are a supportive and nurturing community. You can also follow A&C on Facebook and Instagram @bucksarts
