Jersey City Poetry Festival welcomes Kathy Kremins

JCPOFEST returns from September 25th to the 27th presenting this year's theme "Viva! Joy as Resistance: A Journey of Radical Hope Through Art, Connection & Collective Imagination."

On September 26th, Kathy Kremins, author of Sipping a Cloud, will be moderating a panel tentatively titled "Rooted Witness: Poetics of Climate and Cultural Justice." A conversation exploring the intersection of environmental justice and cultural identity.

Panelists will include:
- Evie Shockley from Cave Canem
- Purvi Shah from Kundiman
- Eduardo Martinez-Leyva from CantoMundo

Each panelist will have the opportunity to read their work, followed by a discussion and Q&A led by Kathy.
