Tales From The Scrapyard is, ultimately, a love letter to adaptation and storytelling. That is true of all of my works, but here especially. That desire to explore the moving parts that I love within the art of storytelling is what drove me throughout my writing process for this book and still drives my writing today. Stories want to grow and change just like we do, and Tales showcases just how powerful that call for change can be, no matter the genre.
