Our Indie Bookstores of New Jersey calendar is back! Carrying on the tradition set forth by authors Bill Hemmig and Margaret Montet, the 2027 wall calendar continues to be our love letter to independent bookstores and community spaces. Join us again to celebrate the indie spirit, ingenuity, and joy that fills every corner of our next batch of bookstores.
Over the last few months, Bill Hemmig, Margaret Montet, Adam Wilson, and S. Atzeni traveled to their favorite places, spoke with the bookstore owners, chatted with booksellers, and explored the bookstore shelves (leaving with more books for our TBR piles!). What we’ve put together is another great year of bookstores and all of the special details that make a visit feel like a reading adventure.
Every month is a tribute to the hard work and dedication independent bookstores provide on a daily basis. This calendar is a necessary addition to any booklover’s home, as reading inspiration or planning your next big indie bookstore road trip!
Preorders are open now. Calendars are printed with a limited print run, so preordering ensures you get a copy before they sell out. Calendars will ship out on August 25th.
