Dear You,
Dear You,
In Giles Crawford’s Dear You, Louis has an existential breakdown after seeing the punk band, Jawbreaker, in March, 1996. Louis confronts his feeling that no matter what he does he’ll never touch someone with his art the way Jawbreaker has impacted him.
Neil is waiting for Louis in the car to drive him home, after they stop at a 24-hour diner for a late dinner.
Dear You is part of Giles’ ongoing short story series, NewOldRare, about Neil and Louis, a gay couple on the east coast of the USA in the 90s, and the small moments that make up their life together. Gile’s writing is emotionally raw and vulnerable. His line work is vibrant and alive!
