This full color 10 page zine examines my life during the very first COVID lockdowns of March 2020. Complete with original drawings, photos, and short essays about how the pandemic affected me, this zine represents the beginning of my freelance journey. Quarantining in my apartment while living on unemployment checks, I was forced to take a hard look at my life. The pandemic, as tragic as it was, allowed me to take a deeper look into who I wanted be on the other side of it. After experience the loss of friends due to COVID and suicide, was I just going to keep aimlessly living my life with no purpose? Was I going to keep allowing people to treat my poorly? Was I going to return to a toxic world of stand up comedy that I was starting to hate? Or was I going to be inspired by my loss to finally become the full-time artist I've always wanted to be?
