Bill Hemmig, the author of the One 'n done title Brethren Hollow, presents Americana: Stories.
Americana is a combination of flash fiction and short stories that eclipse the many different sides of the American experience, from riding on the school bus to the backdrop of Disneyland to the lives we live both in front of and behind a camera's lens.
Bill Hemmig’s story, “Cutthroat Alley,” appears in the 2019 Read Furiously anthology, The World Takes: Life in the Garden State. He has had other short fiction published in the magazines Philadelphia Stories and Children, Churches & Daddies, and has twice been named a finalist, for fiction and flash fiction, in the New Millennium Writing Awards. Previous to taking on fiction writing he was the author of eight plays that were produced Off-Off-Broadway and regionally. He is also Dean of Learning Resources & Online Learning at Bucks County Community College in Pennsylvania.
