August's Theme is: The Book Was Better

For our final month of summer, we’re celebrating the complicated love we all have for the book to movie adaptation. When a book and its movie are perfectly aligned, it becomes an instant classic (we’re looking at you, The Outsiders!). However, when that adaptation doesn’t *quite* hit the mark, it becomes a point of contention for many years (we would include an example, but they’re all still too fresh in our minds). In August’s box, our portable book will celebrate what we think is one of the best movie adaptations and we included some other bookish/movie goodies to help you finish off the book to television/book to movie titles on your list.

All orders placed now through August 2nd will receive August's box.
